Our Love Story, the end of how we got together

*****************This is Part 4************************** It was a steamy night in our Southern town that August of 1996. Sean and I had just spent hours talking out on my front porch but it only seemed like minutes had passed. When he invited me up to his apartment, I was torn about whether or not to go. […]

ya know…i don’t believe ive ever commented on your blog before, but ive been reading for some time. I love that you don’t try to dress up reality too much and make things seem like some dream fairy tale….this was a true, honest story of love in my eyes and i enjoyed reading it very much…even if your hubs face is still red from sharing his heart lol

Thank you so much for that comment! What an incredibly nice thing to say! You really made my day. Please don’t be a stranger, I’d love to hear more from you!

I’m so glad you enjoyed our story and am especially glad that you could feel that it was an honest recollection of the events. My husband was so funny! I didn’t tell him that I was doing this and when he was reading the blog a few days ago, he started laughing and said, “Dude, what are you doing?!” He didn’t ask me to stop though so I think he must have liked it, too. :)

Thanks again for your comment!

Sigh. And they lived happily ever after. What a beautiful story. I’m not sure I’m brave enough to share mine, though!

whimsigal - March 13, 2008 - 9:12 pm

Aww! Come on flo! you can do it!

I’m so glad you enjoyed mine!

Madeline - March 13, 2008 - 10:19 pm

sigh. : ) I love a good love story too. that was wonderfully written as well, keeping me on the edge of my seat and my heart thumping. One day I’ll write ours. Now that you’re finished, I’m afraid of it. His whole family reads my blog (often a problem, actually). But one day..

whimsigal - March 13, 2008 - 10:35 pm

Oh Madeline, come on! Sean’s family reads my blog, too! Unless your story’s too racy….lol.

I hope you will share a little something. Just a teeny tiny bit?

Mrs. K's Lemonade Stand - March 14, 2008 - 12:35 am

You know, any love story that begins with a steamy southern night, is gonna turn out great! 

whimsigal - March 14, 2008 - 1:00 am

Mrs. K, I hope you go back and read the other parts, too!

piscesgrrl - March 15, 2008 - 5:16 pm

*SIGH*… what a lovely story. :-)

Our Love Story, Part 3

So, after a long night of talking and then some passionate early morning kissing, we curled up together and slept. It was unreal. For two years I had been pining secretly in my heart to be with Sean, and it seemed like the impossible dream. Now he was here in my bed, snuggled up next […]

Your story is so romantic. I first met my husband when he delivered a pizza to me. I was a little buzzed (this was in college) and he thought I was rude. We later got formally introduced through mutual friends. He did remember me as being the rude customer.

whimsigal - March 12, 2008 - 2:01 pm

Joan, I laughed out loud when I read your comment! It amazes me how many people met their husbands one way and then were later introduced in a different setting. Talk about destiny! I guess he forgave you for being rude. LOL

piscesgrrl - March 15, 2008 - 5:13 pm

I love the role reversal going on – you in pursuit, him playing hard-to-get!

I met Rob because he was dating my best friend and I was dating his friend. When my friend asked what I thought about him, I replied, “Go for it – he’s hot!”

Our Love Story, Part 2

I’m going to try not to drag this out too much. It’s funny how much comes pouring out of you when writing something like this! Oh, and I got a kick out of all the crickets I heard after putting out the first part. LOL THanks to Sunny for your sweet email and KMH for […]

Mama Podkayne - March 8, 2008 - 3:29 pm
